Press Release, 8.09.2017
“All happening around our candidates is a political crime,” YABLOKO Chair Emilia Slabunova said at a party rally for fair elections in Yaroslavl. “Because it is committed for political reasons, against political opponents – a specific political party and specific political leaders.” Emilia Slabunova came to Yaroslavl to support party candidates in the municipality of this city.
YABLOKO and party candidates pose a serious threat to the authorities, as the authorities make so much effort to organise all sorts of obstacles for our candidates,” Slabunova said. “What is not dangerous does not cause so much activity around. This means that everything we do is right: we have the right content of the campaign, the right ideas, and the right people who stand for election,” she noted.

Why every Muscovite should vote in the municipal elections
Emilia Slabunova blog post, 01.09.2017
Moscow is a city we live in, where we work and study, take children to schools and kindergartens, where we walk in parks and we go to shops. However, bureaucrats and officials have virtually deprived Muscovites of the right to determine what their city should be so that it would be comfortable to live in. The authorities do not consider your opinion – it is not interesting for them. Officials do not consider it necessary to ask you as Muscovites whether you like the changes they are imposing on you, the real owners of the city, whether you want the construction under your windows throughout all summer, or the number of outpatient clinics and schools reduced , or so that new skyscrapers emerge in your well-kept residential area.

“The United Russia party supporters are extinct in Moscow”
Article of the day, 30.08.2017
The Moscow municipal election campaign is entering the completion phase. About 700 Yabloko candidates are still running for municipal deputies despite the use of the administrative resource and the attempts to withdraw them from elections. Few people have got used to the way Yabloko candidates persuade their neighbours to vote. Door to door campaigning and personal communication are the main methods used by Yabloko nominees. The candidates themselves and Yabloko Deputy Chair Nikolai Rybokov, who volunteered in the Orekhovo-Borisovo Yuzhnoye district, will tell us about their experience of campaigning and cooperation with the voters.
