YABLOKO to hold historic forums on the 100th anniversary of the February Revolution and October Coup

The YABLOKO party will hold a series of forums dedicated to the important historical events on their anniversaries, which will take place this year and in the beginning of next year. They are the 100th anniversary of the February Revolution and the October Coup, the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of mass political repressions of 1937 and the 100th anniversary of the Dissolution of the Constituent Assembly (January 1918).
YABLOKO claims that it is necessary to openly consider the violent upheaval of the Bolsheviks in 1917-1918 and give it a clear political, legal and moral estimation at the public and state levels.
Russian and foreign historians will take part in the forum.
It should be reminded that presidential candidate Grigory Yavlinsky lists the preparation for convening the popularly-elected All-Russia Constituent Assembly of the XXI century among priority steps of the future leader of the country. We need to do it in order to break the succession of lawlessness and restore the continuity with the historic Russia both declaratively and in practice, run Grigory Yavlinsky’s presidential platform.
