According to the results of the elections, Konstantin Smirnov, Chairman of the Ryazan branch of the Yabloko party and the editor-in-chief of Vidsboku, was re-elected as a deputy of the Dubrovichy rural settlement of the Ryazan region for a second term. The settlement is located near Ryazan. In addition to Dubrovichy, it includes the village of Alekanovo. The territory of this Ryazan suburb is one of the most popular for cottage construction, while the infrastructure of the “old” part of the settlement is extremely worn out. In the new convocation, Smirnov intends to further fight against land manipulations and raise the problems of the housing and utilities services in the settlement.
Vidsboku journalist Maria Rakcheyeva, nominated by the Yabloko party, was elected a deputy of the Kriushinsky rural settlement of the Klepikovsky district. This is one of the most famous “forest” places in the Ryazan region.
The publications of Maria Rakcheyeva did not allow the business structure of Igor Koskin, the Ryazan oligarch, to get a large area of the local forest for next to nothing. With the help of her deputy mandate and journalistic work, Rakcheyeva intends to achieve, in particular, the solution of problems with the quality of water and the water supply system, transport accessibility for the settlements of the municipality, street lighting and make the Council of Deputies a body that really controls the work and expenses of the administration.
When they were nominated, candidates from Yabloko made an obligation to voters not to vote for representatives of United Russia when appointment to different posts is concerned.
