First meeting of the Council For Consolidation of Women’s Movement of Russia to take place in Yabloko

On 29 June, the first meeting of the revived Council For Consolidation of Women’s Movement of Russia will take place in Yabloko’s office.
Co-Chairwomen of the Council Galina Mikhaleva and Natalia Ivanova decided to resume the activity of the organisation. The Council will dicuss new forms of activity and ways to attract new participants.
The decision to resume the activity of the Council was made at the round table on the government’s national strategy to promote women’s interests. Yabloko developed an alternative strategy and forwarded their amendments to the government.
The Council For Consolidation of Women’s Movement was founded in 2008, on the 100th anniversary of the First All-Russia Women’s Congress.
The event begins at 16:00.
