Altai branch of YABLOKO claims that chair of the city council must comply with the law
Press release, 30.11.2016
Chair of YABLOKO’s branch in the Republic of Altai Nina Dumnova forwarded an appeal to the prosecutor of the Gorno-Altaisk city Yuri Kukhanov demanding to check whether chair of the city council Yuri Nechayev complies with the law.
According to Russia’s anti-corruption law public officials must provide information on their income. However, Yuri Nechayev’s tax declaration (the ruling United Russia party representative) as well as the information on the income, property and property-related obligation of his wife and minor dependents over 2015 is missing on the website of the city administration.
According to Nina Dumnova, it may constitute the grounds for early resignation. The tax declaration of some other deputies are also missing on the website. Dumnova claims that this should be checked as well.
