Activists of the Rostov-on-Don branch of Yabloko sent letters to political prisoners

Activists of the Rostov-on-Don branch of Yabloko sent letters to political prisoners. Yabloko members and political activists, including Vladislav Mordasov, the recently released political prisoner and a defendant in the so-called Rostov case, participated in the action. The participants signed about forty letters to Russian and eight letters to Belarusian political prisoners.
“Every month on the 21st we gather so that to sign postcards to political prisoners. We will send most of them to Russian political prisoners, and some to Belarus. We try to send letters to everyone, especially to those about whom we know that they receive few letters,” Maria Krivenko, Chair of the regional branch of the Yabloko party, told to Kavkaz.Realii.
Maria Krivenko also clarified that this time Vladislav Mordasov, a defendant in the Rostov case, journalist Igor Khoroshilov, who served a double term on the charges of allegedly displaying extremist symbols, as well as two other activists also accused under this article of the Administrative Code – Rostislav Pavlishchev, the former coordinator of OVD-Info in Rostov [an independent media project engaged in protection of human rights ], and Bella Nasibyan, a member of the electoral headquarters of a Yabloko party candidate to the State Duma.
