On Tuesday 14 July, the Omsk regional branch of Yabloko submitted documents to the district Electoral Commission to register the party’s candidates in three single-mandate constituencies for the elections of the State Duma.
“We are entering the forthcoming elections with a single political platform: for peace and freedom, for a life without fear, against censorship and Internet blocking, and against repression and endless bans,” the Omsk regional branch of Yabloko stressed.
It should be noted that Yabloko’s Congress put forward candidates for the ninth convocation of the State Duma. The federal list comprised 275 candidates (seven in the nationwide section and a further 268 as part of 71 regional groups), while a further 137 candidates were put forward in single-mandate constituencies.
The party’s 2026 election platform is the shortest in Yabloko’s history, comprising just 43 words:
FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM!
FOR A LIFE WITHOUT FEAR!
For a ceasefire agreement, diplomacy, and the achievement of peace!
Our goal is to prevent nuclear war!
For a Russia free of fear and political repression!
For the preservation of life, respect, dignity and the wellbeing of people!
Our goal is a prosperous, democratic Russia!
