YABLOKO’s Irina Kopkina and Grigory Semyonov revealed problems of police inspectors work
Press Release,29.07.2014
YABLOKO candidates to the Moscow City Duma Irina Kopkina and Grigory Semyonov together with Moscow Helsinki group conducted a check of local police departments in the Krylatskoye district, Moscow.
The inspectors found out that the a large number of the residents don’t know their police inspectors. They claim that the inspectors are quite often absent at their working place in the reception hours.
“The information boards are covered with advertisement but there’s no information about local police inspectors”, said Irina Kopkina.
“Another problem is heavy workload due to the increase in the residents number which means that a police inspector has to do lots of reports. Doctors, teachers and other state employees are bothered with lots of paper work. This is not correct since they have to work with the residents not paper reports”, said Irina Kopkina.
