The news web-site of the city of Vladimir – Vladimirskiye Novosti (Vladimir News) – included Dmitry Kushpita, Chairman of the Vladimir branch of the Yabloko party, into the list of “100 Most Influential People of the Vladimir Region of 2017”. Kushpita is ranked 46th out of total 100 people.

“According to many experts, this year Dmitry Kushpita has strengthened his positions even more. His voice in the Council [of Deputies of the City of Vladimir] always sounded convincing and concrete.

He is deputy of the Vladimir City Council. He works in the Budget Committee and the Committee for Social Policy of the City Council. He was born in Murom. He has higher professional education, graduated from Vladimir State Pedagogical Institute in 1984.

He started working in 1980 as a mechanic at the Murom Radio Plant, since 1984 he worked as a teacher in the schools of Vladimir, at present he is a Deputy Director for teaching and educational work of the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution of the city of Vladimir “Secondary School No. 40″.

He has been member of the YABLOKO Party since 1998, Chairman of the Vladimir branch of the party since 2001, Chairman of the Vladimir regional branch of the party since 2007.

At present he is deputy of the Council of People’s Deputies of the city of Vladimir of the 25th and the 27th convocations. Member of the Budget Committee and the Committee for Social Policy of the City Council. ”
