Be an opposition politician means playing a special political role. Especially in Russia. First, such a politician is constantly under the attacks from the authorities. Second, he/she is forced to work with a minimum amount of resources. Third, he/she is almost always out of the news agenda. This is only a small part of the problems. However, one can still work being an opposition politician.
