Yabloko to take part in the election of deputies of the Kemerovo municipal district

Four candidates nominated by the Kemerovo branch of Yabloko received registration for the election of deputies to the Council of the Kemerovo municipal district of the first convocation in single-member constituencies.
The following people will take part in the elections: Alexander Kalashnik, pensioner, Valentin Grushevsky, a former employee at the chemical plastic industry, Alexei Mukhin, lawyer, and Pavel Budnikov, criminal lawyer.
Alexei Mezin was refused registration in connection with faults in his subscription lists.
The election of deputies of the Kemerovo municipal district will be held on December 22, 2019. Candidates from six political parties will participate in the elections. The administrative centre of the Kemerovo municipal region is the city of Kemerovo, but the capital of the region is not part of the electoral district.
The Kemerovo municipal district includes nine rural settlements: Arsentyevskoe, Berezovskoye, Beregovoye, Yelykaevskoye, Zvezdnoye, Sukhovskoye, Scheglovskoye, Yagunovskoye and Yasnogorskoye. The population of the Kemerovo region is 46,521 people (i.e., 1.7 per cent of the population of the Kuzbass region).
