YABLOKO to participate in Peace March
Press Release, 11.09.2014
The all-Russia Peace March will take place on September 21 in Moscow. The YABLOKO party is the co-organiser of the march. The march is authorized for 50 thousand people and will start from Pushkinskya metro station and proceed to Prospekt Akademika Sakharova.
The march will be a continuation and development of the Peach march which was held in Moscow on March 15, 2014.
The participants of the action will demand to stop Russia’s irresponsible and aggressive policy.
“Russia admitted its influence on the rebellions. Russia should stop influencing them and become a negotiator on peaceful settlement of the conflict. The temporary truce won’t grow into stable and long-term peace without the above listed measures,” noted
“We demand to investigate the facts of participation of Russia’s militants in military operations at the territory of another country and bring the recruiters to responsibility.
We demand to publish the lists of those who died. They should be buried publicly with military honors. The officials who ordered to conduct secret funerals should be brought to criminal responsibility as well. The moves towards lightening of the conflict make premises for conduction of an international peace conference with the participation of Ukraine, representatives of the Eastern rebellions, Russia, the EU and the USA,” runs in the YABLOKO’s statement.
