YABLOKO to light 1418 candles in memory of the Second World War

In the night from June 21 to June 22 the YABLOKO party will hold its annual event “1418 Candles for Each Day of the War” to commemorate the anniversary of Adolf Hitler’s attack on the Soviet Union.
1418 candles (as of the number of days of the war) will be lit in Park Pobedy (the Victory Park) at Poklonnaya Hill.
The participants will gather at Park Pobedy by the granite slab “1941″ (near the fountain).
The action will begin at 22.00.
