Yabloko municipal deputy Maxim Gongalsky elected head of the Ramenki municipal district, Moscow

Yabloko municipal deputy Maxim Gongalsky is elected head of the Ramenki municipal district in Moscow. Ramenki became the third district of Moscow headed by Yabloko: municipal deputy Yelena Rusakova heads the Gagarinsky district, and municipal deputy Andrey Morev chairs the Yakimanka district municipal council.
On 4 December, elections of the head of the municipality were held in the Council of Deputies of the Ramenki district. Maxim Gongalsky was elected Chairman of the Municipal Councilof the Ramenki Distrcit (the head of the inner-city municipal formation of Ramenki, Moscow). Municipal deputies elected Maxim by a majority of votes. Seven out of twelve deputies voted for his candidacy.
Maxim Gongalsky was born in 1986. He has been living in the Ramenki district, Moscow, since birth. Graduated from the Physics Department of the Moscow State University, received a master’s degree in physics. Currently a research fellow at Moscow State University. Member of the Yabloko party.
