YABLOKO commemorated Larisa Yudina

This day 18 years ago Larisa Yudina, the Editor-in-Chief of the Sovetskaya Kalmykia newspaper and the leader of the regional YABLOKO branch, was murdered in Elista, the Republic of Kalmykia. It turned out that an assistant of Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, the then President of Kalmykia, was among the murderers. Due to the public outcry those who committed the crime were arrested and convicted. However, the investigation failed to find those who ordered the murder. YABLOKO still insists that the ex President of Kalmykia Kirsan Ilyumzhinov was involved in the crime.
The Kalmykia branch of YABLOKO conducted a traditional meeting to commemorate Larisa Yudina on 7 June.
The journalists who used to work for the Sovetskaya Kalmykia newspaper, YABLOKO activists, Chair of the regional party branch Batur Boromangayev and the journalists from Spain attended the meeting.
