According to the Mail.ru Internet portal, the web-site of the Altai Regional Branch of the Yabloko party topped the most popular political web-sites in the Siberian Federal District in April. It ranked 21st (20^th in March) out of 940 information resources in the Russian Federation. The web-site of the Novosibirsk regional branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation ranked 22nd, whereas the popularity of this web-site was largely due to the fact that the Mayor of Novosibirsk is Anatoly Lokot, member of the Communist Party.

The Yabloko web-site had 21,829 unique visitors in April, which is 1,660 more than in March, and the CPRF had 20,107 unique visitors.

Activists of the regional branch of the Yabloko party note that their web-site has been ahead of the Novosibirsk Communists’ web-site for the past three months.

“We are grateful to the readers of our web-site, especially to the residents of the Altai Territory for their loyalty to our web-site. The growing popularity of our web-site, in my opinion, is associated with the current economic situation in the country and the region against the backdrop of a coronavirus infection pandemic. Increasingly more people stop believing to the official information resources of the Russian authorities and are looking for alternative information, including our website. We will try to further justify the trust of our readers,” said Alexander Goncharenko, Chairman of the Altai branch of Yabloko.
