The Tula branch of Yabloko demands to cancel the tender for the purchase of an expensive car for the needs of the Dubna district Administration in the Tula region
Press Release, 16.11.2020
The regional branch of the Yabloko party in the Tula region discovered on the public procurement website that the administration of the Dubna district decided to purchase a new Mitsubishi Outlander for 1,895,000 roubles. Activists of the Tula branch of Yabloko note that the car will most likely be used by the head of the regional Administration Kirill Guzov.

The revenues of the Dubna district budget for 2020 are planned at 142.9 million roubles. Thus, the cost of purchasing an expensive car is almost 1.5% of the district’s income.

“When Mr. Guzov takes the district up to at least 8th place from the top of the list of municipalities in terms of socio-economic status, and not from the bottom, as now, then, perhaps, he will deserve that residents buy a Mitsubishi Outlander for him. Because there is no municipal money, there is taxpayers’ money. These almost 2 million roubles can be spent on improving or repairing something, making something for residents, rather than buying an expensive car for the head of Administration,” Vladimir Dorokhov, Chairman of the Tula branch of Yabloko, said.
“Moreover, the brand new black Mitsubishi Outlander does not fit into the depressive landscapes of Dubna. A Lada Granta for 500,000 roubles will look better here. But I am not sure that the Dubna administration deserve even this car. I call on the Dubna administration to buy some conscience and forget about Mitsubishi Outlander until better times,” the head of the regional office added.
