The Sverdlovsk Region branch of Yabloko nominated the winners of the general democratic primaries for the by-election to the Yekaterinburg City Duma

The conference of the Sverdlovsk Region branch of Yabloko nominated candidates from the democratic opposition for the by-election to the Yekaterinburg City Duma. The candidates were chosen via primaries held on the initiative of Yabloko which determined the candidates during a joint preliminary vote of Yabloko and other democratic parties and political organisations in Yekaterinburg.
The winners of the debates and, consequently, the primaries, were Dmitry Trynov, Chairman of the trade union University Solidarity at the Ural Fedral University, and Vladislav Postnikov, head of the Sverdlovsk branch of the Open Russia public organisation.
Dmitry Trynov and Vladislav Postnikov were nominated as candidates for the city parliament in districts No. 3 and No. 9. The candidates share the Yabloko values set out in the Memorandum of Political Alternative.
It should be noted that the by-elections to the Yekaterinburg City Duma in district No. 9 and district No. 3 will be held on November 22.
