On the eve of Local Government Day, 21 April, the Yabloko party in St. Petersburg decided to announce the launch of its municipal election campaign. Elections of deputies to municipal councils will be held in St.Petersburg in September 2024.
“Yabloko will participate in the upcoming municipal campaign and will nominate candidates as a St.Petersburg parliamentary party, without collecting signatures,” Alexander Shishlov, the head of the St. Petersburg branch of Yabloko and the head of the Yabloko faction in the city parliament, announced at a briefing at the Legislative Assembly.
Dozens of people are ready to be nominated from Yabloko – party members, candidate members and registered supporters.
The party invites caring and active citizens who share Yabloko principles, strive for peace, are ready to be elected and then work in municipal councils.
To start this path one should go to the Yabloko web-site, choose the “Participate!” section and register.
