The Ryazan branch of the Yabloko party appeals to the deputies of the Ryazan City Duma with a call to dismiss Yelena Sorokina, head of the Ryazan administration, from her post, terminating the contract concluded with her.

Obviously, Sorokina has been the worst Mayor in the history of Ryazan. There are only two types of reaction of the townspeople to the actions of the head of administration: indignation and mockery. If Sorokina retains her post, this will be a complete disregard for the opinion of the residents of Ryazan.

In recent months, the administration of Ryazan, headed by Sorokina for three and a half years, has demonstrated a complete inability to cope with the devastation in the urban economy:

The city turned out to be absolutely unprepared for snow removal, thousands of Ryazan residents broke legs and arms on slippery ice. The criminal case against employees of the department of provision of urban amenities who purchased municipal equipment at an inflated price, indicates that one of the main reasons is corruption in the administration of Sorokina.

The January accident at the heating networks, which left the residents of the Kanishchevo city district without heating, is the result of the refusal of the city authorities to deal with the problems of infrastructure, the complete deterioration of which has been known for at least the last 15 years.

The March flooding of the streets is a consequence of the same negligent attitude towards the problem of non-functioning sewers.

The deterioration of the overhead line system for trolleybuses, which the administration had never dealt with, despite the urgency of the problem, led to two halts in trolleybus traffic in a significant part of the city in March.

In December, a house collapsed in Pushkin Street in Ryazan, and in February another house collapsed in Griboyedov Lane. Residents of both the houses repeatedly raised the issue of the emergency situation with both houses, but the head of the administration of Ryazan refused to listen to them.

All these facts speak of a systematic failure by Yelena Sorokina to fulfill her duties as head of the administration of Ryazan. If deputies of the City Duma of all factions do not dismiss Sorokina from her post, they will actually share with Sorokina the responsibility for the degradation of the executive power in Ryazan and the destruction of the city.
