Yelena Plotnikova, a member of the Green Russia Faction of the Yabloko party and an expert on environmental safety, submitted documents to participate in the competition for the post of the head of the Yemanzhelinsky urban settlement. The nomination of Yelena Plotnikova to the post of the head of Yemanzhelinsk was supported by the Regional Council of the Chelyabinsk branch of Yabloko.

“I would like to mark a number of initiatives by my nomination,” Yelena Plotnikova says. “For example, to develop and implement a set of measures aimed at improving the quality of life of residents of the Yemanzhelinsky urban settlement. Specifically: affordable and high-quality medical care for all categories of citizens, support for small businesses, creation of new jobs, timely and relevant assistance to vulnerable segments of the population, creation of a comfortable urban environment, solution of  problems in the field of housing and communal services and road facilities. All this is extremely necessary for modern Yemanzhelinsk.”

The Chelyabinsk regional branch of Yabloko notes that Yelena Plotnikova has rich experience in the areas of management and jurisprudence, experience in management positions, knowledge in the field of the labour, the administrative, the tax, and the criminal law, labor protection, personnel services, constantly interacts with different authorities, non-profit and commercial organisations.

“Yelena is a good candidate for this position. Development in the current realities is impossible without “fresh blood”, new ideas, energy and practical skills. At the moment, the situation is such that the same people occupy leading positions for decades, which undoubtedly leads to stagnation in all spheres. Yelena Plotnikova has a very large experience and a good background,” Yaroslav Shcherbakov, Chairman of the Chelyabinsk branch of Yabloko comments.

The contest for the position of the head of the Yemanzhelinsky urban settlement will take place on October 30.

She is married and has a daughter.

Graduated from two universities majoring in management and jurisprudence, is also a specialist in environmental safety.

Has experience in the areas of road and capital construction, housing and communal services, solid waste disposal, repairs of apartment buildings. For many years she was engaged in protection of the rights of citizens and legal entities. Has experience in the civil service in the state labour inspection of the Chelyabinsk region.

At the moment she works as a general counsel in a construction company.
