St.Petersburg Ombudsman presented his annual report

Alexander Shishlov, St.Petersburg Ombudsman and member of YABLOKO Bureau, presented his annual report on the activities of St. Petersburg Ombudsman and observing of the rights and freedoms of the residents of the city in 2013. The report was made at the meeting of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg.
Information from different sources was used in the report:
– individual and collective complaints from the city residents;
– interviews with the city residents by the Ombudsman and his staff;
– information from on-site inspections, including those held together with the state supervisory and regulatory authorities;
– official records of the state power bodies and local authorities ;
– information from non-profit organizations;
– publications in mass media;
– publications posted in the Internet.
