Sergei Mitrokhin enjoys the highest support among the opposition candidates

According to the opinion poll published on August 5 by gazeta.ru, 31 per cent of the polled would cast their votes for Sergei Mitrokhin at the Moscow mayoral elections. The respondents answered the question: “Do you admit that you will vote for this candidate?”.
This is the highest support among all the opposition candidates, and is second only to Acting Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin supported by 71 per cent of the polled. Distribution of votes among other candidates is as follows: 21 per cent of the votes per Mikhail Degtyaryov from LDPR and Nikolai Levichev from the Just Russia party, 25 per cent for Alexei Navalny running from PARNAS and 28 per cent for communist Ivan Melnikov.
According to the VTsIOM opinion poll, 46 per cent of Muscovites expressed their readiness to come to the polling stations on September 8, and another 30 per cent admitted they may come.
