Sergei Ivanenko re-elected Chairman of the Moscow branch of Yabloko to a second term

Sergei Ivanenko, Deputy Chairman of the Yabloko party, was re-elected Chairman of the Moscow branch of the party for a second two-year term. This decision was made by the delegates of the conference of the Moscow branch of the party, which is being held at the central office of the party on 11 December.
Voting was uncontested. Ivanenko’s candidacy was proposed by Maxim Kruglov, Yabloko’s deputy of the Moscow City Duma. Sergei Ivanenko received 36 votes, five delegates voted against.
Sergei Ivanenko was an MP of the State Duma in the first three convocations (1993 – 2003), First Deputy Chair of the Yabloko faction. 2003-2007 – Vice President of the Russian Chess Federation. In 2004-2008 and since 2016 – Deputy Chairman of Yabloko. Candidate of Economic Sciences, Master of Sports in Chess.
Maxim Kruglov, head of the Yabloko faction in the Moscow City Duma, Andrei Morev, head of the Yakimanka municipal district, and Kirill Goncharov, a member of the Yabloko Federal Bureau, were elected deputy chairmen.
