Schoolchildren in Dubrovichy, the Ryazan region, were provided with textbooks after Yabloko deputy Konstantin Smirnov intervened

The Minister of Education of the Ryazan Region, Olga Shchetinkina, informed Konstantin Smirnov, a deputy of the Dubrovichy settlement from the Yabloko party and Editor-in-Chied of the online media Vid Sboku (Side View), that all the necessary textbooks, that had not been delivered to the school in the village of Dubrovichy by the beginning of the school year, had finally arrived to the school.
“All the textbooks have already arrived and are at the school. I am telling you this basing on the information received from the administration of the Ryazan region: today the school received all the textbooks,” the head of the Ryazan Ministry of Education informed Smirnov.
The school director also confirmed this information.
T should be noted that earlier Konstantin Smirnov as alocal deputy from Yabloko sent an appeal to the Minister of Education of the Ryazan Region informing the ministry of the shortage of textbooks in a village school. Smirnov wrote in his letter that after the start of the school year, it was reported that second-grade pupils of the school in Dubrovichy were given one textbook on per two pupils, which could not be taken home. It was recommended for the pupils to use the Internet for homework.
Smirnov also raised the question with the minister that the most massive cottage development in the region is underway in the Dubrovichy area, it was clear that the number of children in school would grow, but this was not taken into account by the educational authorities.
