Pskov Yabloko receives threats from some criminals. Who has sent them?

Dear friends,
Unfortunately the situation is far from being calm and peaceful in Pskov.
Last morning, an unidentified man (allegedly an acting or former employee of the law enforcement or secret services) stuck a piece of paper on the sign of the public reception office of a deputy of the Pskov Regional Assembly with physical threats addressed to me.
Unfortunately, in the context of a criminal attack on the Pskov Yabloko, such an action is not surprising. The instigators of the criminal case against Pskov Yabloko and me personally, and those who ordered this intruder to appear in front of our public reception office are the same people [though they can hardly be called ‘people’]. Such is politics in Russia today. Dirty people are doing it.
The full political responsibility for the further development of the political and criminal situation in the Pskov region is borne by Governor Mikhail Vedernikov. From now on he is personally responsible for the safety of each person in the team of the Pskov branch of Yabloko. Mikhail Vedernikov knows who and how filed the criminal case against Pskov Yabloko. It will not be difficult for him to find out who this person was and who sent him.
The main task of the authorities in Russia, including the law enforcement and security services, is the struggle against the political opposition, the struggle against dissent. This dirty fight can have a variety of criminal forms, including initiation of obviously unlawful criminal cases, including personal threats.
We are fully aware of these risks. We have to do political work in such circumstances, and we will continue this work.
I have filed today a claim with the Investigation Department of the Investigation Committee of Russia in the Pskov Region on conducting a check and initiation of a criminal case on the grounds of corpus delicti envisaged by Article 119 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Let them deal with criminals, not the opposition.
I urge all friends to support the team of Pskov Yabloko, our fight for human rights and the rule of law in our region, our whole country. Friends, we still need your financial assistance (Ed. this is valid for Russian citizens only!), both for the work of a lawyer and, judging by the latest events, for additional security costs.
Our political position remains unchanged, our work continues. Many thanks to everyone who supports us these days, who stands with us.
