Political competitor tries to remove YABLOKO candidate from elections to St.Petersburg Legislative Assembly
Anatoly Krivenchenko, a candidate for deputy of St.Petersburg Legislative Assembly from the Just Russia party, appealed to court demanding to remove YABLOKO’s Sergei Gulyaev from the elections. Krivenchenko claims that there is no information on the exact address of the land parcel, which belongs to Gulyaev, in his documents for registration as a candidate.
According to YABLOKO’s nominee, there is no such a requirement to provide the exact address of a land parcel in the law.
“Krivenchenko realises who is his real competitor and that is why he is trying to distract me from the election campaign. No doubt that I am going to win the case but it is a pity that I will waste so much time,” Sergei Gulyaev said. He remained that his political opponent has already forwarded two claims against him to the territorial election commission under far-fetched pretexts.
