YABLOKO leader Sergei Mitrokhin and party activists who are standing now in the yard of Zamoskvoretsky City Court, Moscow, to support the prisoners of the Bolotnaya Rally case, report that police again has begun random arrests of people waiting for the court verdict.
Yury Turin, member of Youth YABLOKO, has been arrested once again. The passage to the court building is blocked from both the sides.
Today the court has to make its verdict on eight participants on the Bolotnaya Rally case who were accused of participating in a “mass-scale riot and use of force against police” during protests of May 6, 2012. Prosecutors asked the judge to give them from five to six years of imprisonment. The prisoners insist on their innocence and complete acquittal.
