Pamfilova’s tears

Girogry Yavlinsky website, 21.09.2018

Many people discussed Pamfilova’s tears and annulling election results in Primorsky Krai yesterday. What has happened? What was it that upset the head of the Central Electoral Commission so much?

It turned out that is was not the breach of legislation, deception of voters or mockery of people who came to express their will that upset Ella Alexandrovna. According to Pamfilova, the main problem is that the work if the Central Electoral Commission was “derailed”!

By the way, Ella Alexandrovna honestly admitted that the Central Electoral Commission is almost helpless without the President’s support. Does this imply that the Central Electoral Commission has ignored election fraud before with the support of the President? Why did not Pamfilova cry in the autumn of 2016 when video proof of election fraud was released? There was much evidence. Why did not she burst into tears during the presidential campaign when Putin violated the law on election campaigning on all federal TV channels? Why was she silent when presidential candidates who did not collect signatures [to pass the municipal filter] and did not even attempt to do it were registered?

If the authorities disapprove of the election results, the way it happened with Primorsky Krai, and fraud is too obvious, they decide annul the results. But why cannot you recount votes? Why cannot they find and punish the guilty? Annulling the elections the way they are doing it now is real manipulation. Now the United Russia administration was given an opportunity to engage with the population, mend the fraud mechanism that misbehaved and have a “landslide” victory with a different candidate.

Finally, why did Ella Alexandrovna say that “only Lord can… guarantee” transparency in repeat elections in Primorsky Krai?

This is why:

There cannot be any open, competitive, fair election, normal election, in Putin’s Russia where there are no checks and balances, no influential independent media, no independent court and no big business independent of the government.

What is going on in Primorsky Krai is a private matter, an intra-party war. This is not a concern about voters’ change of mind (the authority know people’s mind quite well). This is the issues of the skilfulness of fraud. In Primorsky Krai they made a technical mistake and by circumstances this became known to public. Similar fraud is taking place in many places across Russia. It happened during the previous election and at all election starting from 1996. There was even a case when the President congratulates on the victory and then(!) manipulation takes place and they take victory away from those who is out of favour.

In Primorsky Krai (as in any other region) the authorities have their own way: they appoint a person who is loyal to Putin via “elections”. If it is not Tarasenko, there will be some other candidate. It can be a candidate from the Communist Party or LDPR. The most important thing is personal devotion. Does it really matter who will carry out Putin’s policy in Primorsky Krai – foot soldier Tarasenko or foot soldier Ischenko? There are many examples of such “pluralism” in Russia’s federal and regional administrations.

Everything that is going on in Primorsky Krai – media turmoil, tears, endless discussions, deep thoughts, etc. – this is nothing from the point of view of new elections. The electoral system will be destroyed to prevent future mistakes. This is it.

All this turmoil is only a distraction from shooting down our plane with 15 officers with our missile in Syria (It would be a good idea to declare mourning and punish the guilty), from another lies about Malaysia Airlines Boeing shot down in Donbass that were revealed by journalists, from the disgrace of “Salisbury tourists and poisoners”, from holes in the spaceship, from the minister accused of corruption who openly treats Navalny with physical altercation, from declining living standards, from isolation and sanctions.

At the same time: Sentsov who has committed no crime was put in prison for 20 years and may die at any moment. It seems that Verzilov was really poisoned to prevent him from investigating into the activity of the private military company “Vagner” and the merger of journalists in Africa. Furthermore, secret services still persecute young people whom they provoked in relation to the case of “The New Greatness” organisation.

Do not allow them to disturb you and distract you by a fake agenda. Elections in modern Russia is a deliberately organised fake. No matter if whether they take place in Primorsky Krai or Moscow. We still need to participate in elections like this to have the platform to tell the truth about what is going on in the country, region or city as clearly as possible. We need to participate in them to explain to people what will happen and not to tell them who loves the President better or will follow his will in the best way.
