Nikolai Rybakov to visit the Arkhangelsk Region

On 26th December, Nikolai Rybakov, Deputy Chair of the Yabloko Party, will visit the Arkhangelsk Region. The politician is going to Arkhangelsk to get to know the opinion of the local residents concerning the problem of transferring municipal waste from Moscow to this region. Rybakov will address the residents in person to find out what Yabloko can do to oppose the plan of turning the region into a landfill site.
At 12.30 Nikolai Rybakov will arrive to the site where the administration of the Arkhangelsk Region is located to meet the participants of pickets against bringing waste from Moscow to Arkhangelsk.
From 14.00 to 15.30 Nikolai Rybakov will take part in a round table.
The politician will visit the city of Severodvinsk later that day.
From 19.00 to 21.00 the politician will have meeting with environmental activists.
Nikolai Rybakov raised the problem of transportation of Moscow garbage to the Arkhangelsk Region in the State Duma meeting on 5 December. [Non-parliamentary parties are invited to participate in the parliament’s meetings once a year.]
