Nikolai Kavkazsky elected Chairman of Moscow Youth Yabloko

On July 12 an election meeting of the Moscow branch of Youth Yabloko took place. Nikolai Kavkazsky, ex political prisoner, was elected new Chairman.
Maria Yefimova was elected deputy Chair. Nikita Arkin and Yuri Slinko were elected to the regional council.
“We plan to continue our animals rights campaign. Moreover, we are determind to achieve the investigation of the murder of Timur Kuashev. On August 1 it will be a year since the day he passed away. It’s obvious that the authorities try to keep the case quiet since those who ordered and committed the crime haven’t been found yet and the appartments of those who threatened Kuashev haven’t beeb searched”, said Nikolai Kavkazsky.
