On August 24 the volunteers of Kirill Goncharov, YABLOKO candidate for the Moscow City Duma deputy, were attacked by the strangers who seized their campaign materials.

The strangers arrived at the car number 0938ЕС 777, seized the campaign leaflets and threatened the volunteers.

According to the eyewitnesses, the strangers have been campaigning for the Just Russia party candidate Sergei Zhuravsky. Kirill Goncharov filed a police report.

The next day some strangers put the arms on Goncharov’s volunteers who were collecting signatures in favour of amendments to the law on capital repairs of residential housing. Fortunately, the local residents managed to detain the attackers and called the police.

Kirill Goncharov and some “supervisor” of the attackers arrived at the place. The “supervisor” started to provoke Goncharov and record what was going on. He started telling the residents that Goncharov had been detained by police the week before. Though actually that time Kirill called the police himself since his campaign newspapers have been stolen.
The “supervisor” accused Goncharov of casting aspersions on him and announced that he would go to a police department. Goncharov also headed to a police department to file a counter application.

It has been already a third application to police on behalf of Goncharov. He claims that YABLOKO’s rating in the district is quite high and the other candidates try to obstruct Goncharov’s campaign.
