Boris Vishnevsky, a member of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg and Deputy Chairman of the Yabloko party, signed a bailment for the artist Alexandra Skochilenko, who, according to the investigation, “spread false information about the Russian army”. Vishnevsky sent a guarantee letter to the Vasileostrovskiy District Court, where a trial on choosing a measure of restraint for Alexandra Skochilenko should be held.
“Alexandra faces from five to ten years in prison for “disseminating deliberately false information about the Russian army”. Such imprisonment terms are not always given for really serious crimes against a person. The law enforcement do not respond when it concerns calls to “cut off the heads” of political opponents, threats to journalists and proposals to hit Azerbaijan. But in this case they react at once,” Boris Vishnevsky said.
It should be noted that on 11 April, the security forces came with a search to the St. Petersburg artist Alexandra Skochilenko. Later it was reported that the artist became a suspect under of Article 207 Part 2 of the Criminal Code – “dissemination of deliberately false information about the Russian army based on political hatred”, in this case she could face from five to ten years in prison.
The investigation believes that Alexandra Skochilenko changed the price tags in grocery stores for anti-war leaflets with information about the shelling of Mariupol and civilian casualties during the “special operation” announced by Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.
According to the Rotonda telegram channel (https://t.me/rotondamedia/3340 ), complaints to the police come from employees of grocery supermarkets, whose management obliges them to examine the recordings from CCTV cameras and “hand over the scoundrels to the relevant authorities”.
