Boris Mezdrich will head YABLOKO list at the elections to Novosibirsk region Legislative Assembly

Former head of the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet theatre Boris Mezdrich will head YABLOKO list of candidates at the elections to the Lagislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk region.
Boris Mezdrich was dismissed in March 2015 because of the scandal around Richard Wagner’s opera Tannhauser put on by theatre director Timofei Kulyabin. The play was honored by the audience and music critics but offended the feelings of religious people.
“I’ve always voted for YABLOKO even despite the current situation. My views fully coincide with those of YABLOKO. Moreover, democratic summon is of great importance in Russia and in Novosibirsk as well. The democratic life order, when the individual interests of a person at least coincide with those of the state and much better when the individual interests are superior, will provide an opportunity for development [of the country],” said Boris Mezdrich.
