Bandit technologies used at the elections in Moscow region
Press Release, 15.09.2014
The bandit technologies were used at the elections in the Moscow region, especially in Zhukovsky and Korolyev: open election fraud, rewriting of election protocols and beating of election observers. The counting of votes is not over yet. The information was announced by Chair of the Moscow region branch of YABLOKO Alexandr Gunko.
According to the exit polls data in the Zhukovsky city, YABLOKO won. YABLOKO nominated a very strong list of candidates including well-known activists. But the situation changed dramatically during the counting of votes. The same thing happened in Korolyev.
The election results are not announced yet, the falsificator’s goal is to lower YABLOKO’s result up to 5%.
YABLOKO’s election observers were removed from nearly all the polling stations. The unidentified people who looked in a bandit-like way attacked YABLOKO’s observers and later the police detained exactly YABLOKO’s observers, not the attackers.
This way unidentified people came up to YABLOKO’s observer and stated to shout that there was a bomb in YABLOKO observer’s bag, that he was a Banderovite and wanted to kill everyone. After this the unidentified people attacked him, started to beat and called the police.
“The situation in Zhukovsky is like this: YABLOKO’s win is being stolen at every polling station. The situation is not like in Moscow, here we have a very strong, united team and the citizens voted for it. There are even election protocols from several tens of the polling stations which prove that YABLOKO has won but they are being destroyed hour after hour”, said one of the election observers.
As a result the election protocols in Zhukovsky are either stolen or rewritten. The counting of votes is not over yet: not all the commissions have arrived at the territorial election commission.
“These are the bandit technologies, such a terrible outrage. We will do everything possible to cancel the election results”, noted Alexandr Gunko.
