Press Release, 19.04.2021
The Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the data of the investigation of Anatoly Kivva, a deputy of the Zaboryevsky rural settlement (the Ryazan region) from the Yabloko party, that the municipal organisation “Byt” providing utility services had illegally set tariffs for the population and collected money from residents in accordance with these tariffs. An administrative case was initiated.
“Tariffs for wastewater disposal for consumers of the municipal unitary enterprise for housing and utilities services “Byt” in the Zaboryevsky rural settlement were not approved by the State Institution of the Regional Energy Commission of the Ryazan Region. The company carries out wastewater disposal activities at independently established tariffs,” the Public Prosecutor’s Office noted in a response to Anatoly Kivva’s appeal.
