Sergei Mitrokhin demands to open a criminal case over attack on Stanislav Pozdnyakov

YABLOKO leader Sergei Mitrokhin fawarded an appeal to head of Chief Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow region Victor Paukov demanding to open a criminal case over the attack on Stanislav Paukov who was an election observer at the elections in Balashikha, the Moscow region, on April 26.
The activist of the Solodarnost movement Stanislav Pozdnyakov and the other election observer Dmitry Nesterov were attacked by approximately eight men who had driven a black BMW without numbers. According to eyewitnesses, the election observers who were lying on the ground were kicked.
Stanislav Pozdnyakov was hospitalised. As a result of the injuries his spleen was removed, now he needs a long-term rehabilitation.
Sergei Mitrokhin claims that the observers recorded the election fraud and that became the reason for the attack.
