Property of the Third way NGO rot in a cellar

The staff of the Third Way NGO and YABLOKO’s Sofya Rusova checked the condition of the cultural objects and private belongings which have been taken away from the NGO’s premises.
In February police officers took away the belongings of the Third way NGO including more than 200 precious art objects, musical instruments, books and other things.
The belongings have been placed in a cellar therefore many of them are ruined by now due to dead air, rats and insects.
The third way cultural centre had been situated at Pyatnitskaya Street for 22 years. The authorities evicted it because of the property dispute with the nearby church. According to the investigator, the Third way will be returned to its premises after the redecoration is finished.
