Dear friends,

The election campaign has come to an end, and we would like to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts. Those who have supported us before, and those who joined us this summer, because our position and our platform — “For Peace and Freedom! For a Ceasefire Agreement. For a Life Without Fear” — struck them as close and understandable.

Thanks to your activity, the whole country and the whole world have seen that millions of Russians stand for peace. That this is the demand of the majority of society. In an effort to prevent the only opposition from being represented in parliament, and understanding that we had every chance of taking second place in the elections and forming factions in the State Duma and regional parliaments, the authorities, acting on complaints from political spoilers, removed our federal party-list and almost all of our regional lists from the elections. But our candidates in the [single-mandate] constituencies courageously continued the campaign.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in this campaign.

Those who voted for our candidates and stood in queues for hours to vote with a paper ballot rather than “electronically” (as the latter involved an enormous risk of vote theft).

Those who were candidates, or observers, or volunteers or campaigners in the elections.

Those who worked to prevent falsifications at polling stations.

Those who financed our election campaign.

Those who published their own videos and posts online.

Those who covered our work in articles, video reports and photo essays.

We thank all the party members who work at Yabloko despite all the difficulties and threats.

We thank everyone who answered our call not to support any of the parties left on the ballot, because they are all one and the same “party of power”. In the end, it is precisely the moral choice that will prove to be the most pragmatic one.

To all our supporters, we would like to say that we value and are deeply grateful to you. Don’t lose heart.

Life does not end here. Stay with us, and together we will build a new, prosperous Russia.
