The conference of the Pskov regional branch of the Yabloko party has nominated 81 candidates for deputy positions in elections to representative bodies of local self-government. All Yabloko party candidates in the Pskov region and across the country are standing in elections under the slogan “For Peace and Freedom! For the Ceasefire Agreement!”.

Pskov Yabloko nominated party lists of candidates and candidates in single-mandate constituencies in all 11 newly formed municipal districts, as well as a candidate to run in by-elections to the Assembly of Strugo-Krasnensk Municipal District.

The lists include new candidates, long-standing team members and current Yabloko deputies: Alexander Konashenkov, Irina Kuryleva and Darya Kalinina (Assembly of the Gdov District), Irina Ershova (Assembly of the Novosokolniki District), Svetlana Lapova (Assembly of the Pustoshka District), Lyudmila Perfilyeva (Assembly of the Pushkinogorsk District), Sergei Melnikov (Assembly of the Sebezh District), as well as public assistants to Yabloko deputy of the Pskov Regional Assembly Arthur Gaiduk: Alexander Tikhomirov (Velikiye Luki District), Dmitry Shemetov (Ostrov District) and Lyubov Zhiltsova (Palkino District).

Elections in the Pskov region will take place on 14 September.
