Studies in the fourth class of the Federal Party School of Yabloko have begun. This year, about a hundred applicants applied to participate in the project, of which 62 successfully passed the competitive selection and were enrolled in the School. Among those admitted are members and supporters of Yabloko, as well as civil activists from 12 regions of Russia.
The introductory lecture for the students was held by the party Chairman Nikolai Rybakov. He told the young people about the prospects of their education, shared his memories of how he once came into politics and how the time of his youth differed from today.
The Chairman of Yabloko emphasised that for the party, the School meant preparing younger generation for the future, an opportunity to pass on knowledge and experience to the next generation, which will be able to realise themselves in social and political activities and take responsibility for the future of Russia into their own hands.
Rybakov, addressing the students, noted that they got the opportunity to accumulate intellectual capital for the future and urged them to use this chance.
Kirill Goncharov, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Yabloko and Coordinator of the Federal Yabloko Party School, stressed that “everyone would be able to gain important knowledge that can be used in politics and in life in general”.
Kirill Goncharov also said that alumnae of the School include active journalists, human rights activists, and activists and members of the governing bodies of the regional branches of Yabloko.
