Press Release, 16.09.2024
At the September elections in the Pskov region, four lists of candidates from the Yabloko party managed to overcome the threshold, receiving from 5.46% to 13.63% of voters’ support. The interests of citizens in the deputies’ assemblies of municipal districts will be represented by seven new deputies from Yabloko. The elected candidates of the Pskov regional branch of the party are as follows:
Yulia Andreyeva, an economist from the village of Brodovichi, became a deputy of the Assembly of the Porkhov municipal district. 5.46% of voters (248 people, including 44 through the e-voting) voted for the single list of the party, which was topped by Yulia Andreyeva.
Music teacher Lidiya Ignatenko and driver Anatoly Dolin were elected as deputies of the Usvyatsky Municipal District Assembly from Yabloko on the party’s single list of candidates: 10.38% of voters (198 people, including 33 through the e-voting) voted for the Pskov Yabloko team in the Usvyatsky District.
The single list also included the current deputy of the District Assembly Andrei Knyazev. He will continue to work in the team as an assistant to the deputy of the Pskov Regional Assembly Artur Gaiduk. Lidiya Ignatenko and Andrei Knyazev were deputies of the Usvyatsky District Assembly of the past two convocations.
Galina Plevak, a painter by background and now a director of the culture centre, and entrepreneur Nadezhda Larionova became deputies of the Plussky Municipal District Assembly from Yabloko: 13.63% of voters (316 people, including 39 through e-voting) voted for the single list of the party in the Plussky Territory. This provided the Pskov Yabloko team with two deputy mandates in the new convocation of the district parliament. Nadezhda Larionova is elected a deputy of the Plussky District Assembly from the Yabloko for the second time already (the first time was in 2017).
Entrepreneur Alexei Gromov and engineer Olga Ozhirelyeva became deputies of the Dnovsky Municipal District Assembly. The single list of Pskov Yabloko was supported by 11.35% of voters, 341 people voted for the candidates, including 100 through the e-voting. The Pskov Yabloko team thanks all citizens who voted for peace, freedom and human dignity, and notes that even the official election results allow us to say that the Pskov Yabloko became the second strongest team in the past elections and confirmed its status as the only real opposition political party in the Pskov region.
