Dear friends,
I thank you all for your human responses to today’s decision of the authorities.
Nothing sudden or unexpected has happened. A democratic politician in Russia should be ready any day for such a reaction to his public stand.
Much worse things happen: people are killed, their relatives are taken away, they are deprived of their freedom.
The Russian state is seriously ill with hatred, and this disease is a sorrowful fact, because it destroys the state itself, depriving it of its natural foundations.
This disease is not forever, but living in such times befell us. This should be treated calmly, like bad weather. This shall pass too.
Hope, we will be able to preserve the normal understanding of things, put our country in order and bring it freedom.
There will be no change in my public stance, there are no grounds for this.
By swapping good and evil, truth and lies, black and white, the Russian authorities decided that the world would change according to their ideas. This is at least unreasonable.
No one managed to deceive history and time, and the current interim rulers of Russia will not be an exception.
We will continue our communication with you in the language of freedom, good and peace.
Thank you.
