A second protocol of violation under Article 20.3.3 Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation on “discrediting the armed forces” was drawn up against Lev Shlosberg, the leader of the Pskov Yabloko and a member of the Federal Political Committee of the party. This time, the accusations were connected with one of the broadcasts on the Grazhdanin TV channel.
According to the first protocol of violation, Lev Shlosberg was fined 32,000 roubles for “discrediting the armed forces of the Russian Federation”. However, this decision of the Pskov City Court has not come into force yet. After this first decision of the court comes into force, the decision on the second protocol of violation will be considered a repeated offense. Lev Shlosberg writes in his Telegram channel that he will appeal the first decision of “discrediting the armed forces” as soon as he receives the formal document from court.
The date of consideration of the second case has not been set by the Pskov City Court yet. Lawyer Vladimir Danilov will defend Lev Shlosberg in this case.
It should be noted that simultaneously with the first protocol of violation of Lev Shlosberg, his wife Zhanna Shlosberg was accused under the same article. Yabloko member Zhanna Shlosberg was found guilty for posting a photograph wearing a traditional Ukrainian shirt and Ukrainian national flower wreath with yellow and blue ribbons, and holding a piece of paper “No ** ***!” and comments. The fine amounted to 30,000 roubles.
Ten members of Yabloko have already been brought to administrative responsibility under the article on “discrediting the armed forces of the Russian Federation”.
