A protocol on a violation under the article on “discrediting the armed forces” was drawn up against Vladimir Dorokhov, Chairman of the Tula branch of Yabloko
Press Release, 30.03.2022
On 24 February, two weeks before the adoption of amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses introducing liability for “discrediting the use of the Russian armed forces”, Vladimir Dorokhov, Chairman of the Tula branch of Yabloko, posted on his VKontakte social media page a picture with two words, the first of which is “no”, and the second is a prohibited synonym for “special operation”. The police say that by doing this Dorokhov “undermined confidence” in the “special operation”.
This is the fourth time that Yabloko activists have been prosecuted under the new article. Yaroslav Revenko from Taganrog was fined 60,000 roubles, Valentin Grushevsky from Kemerovo got a fine of 35,000 roubles, and an administrative protocol was drawn up against Anatoly Nogovitsyn from Yakutsk, but there has been no trial yet.
Here go the reports on the persecution of Yabloko members after the start of the “special operation”.
