When the level of general and political culture in society is very low, especially among the numerous restless working youth;
when the entire political agenda consists of a single dominant: which implies unquestioning submission to the government for those who support this government, and the only topic of fight against corruption for those who are in opposition;
when there is no public dialogue at all, but at the same time there arises a feeling – it does not matter whether it is true or false – that some kind of split has emerged in the ruling elite and this can be used, as if playing into the hands of someone;
when people massively lose their sense of perspective in a relatively small and psychologically compact city, whose enterprise provides a significant part of the country’s wealth, and, despite their work “for the common good”, they can barely make ends meet;
when adventurers come out of the marginality and gain weight, then, alas, it turns out just like we see in Kazakhstan…
What else is there to say? To discuss the topic of someone’s victory and someone’s defeat there in the categories of political science is blasphemous: this is, forgive me, as discussing a nuclear war… Peace to Kazakhstan, and to all of us!
P.S. There has been published a censored, with some strange wordings, albeit very informative, in my view, material.
