Altai YABLOKO demands to bring allocation of land plots for large families under control
Press Release, November 27, 2013
The Altai branch of YABLOKO demanded the authorities to take the allocation of land plots for families with many children under control.
According to Article 28 paragraph 2 of the Federal Law No. 138-FZ of June 14, 2011, citizens having more than two children acquire the right to get a land plot free of charge, for example to build a house on it. The grounds and procedure for it shall be established by laws of the regions of the Russian Federation.
The citizens of Altai have recently complained to YABLOKO public reception room about the inaction of the municipal officials. The officials propose the citizens to take land plots in hard-to-reach places without an infrastructure or suggest that the citizens should do land surveying and cadastral registration at their own expense or buy the land plots by auction.
The Altai branch of YABLOKO claims that the actions (inactions) of the officials violate the rights of families with many children. Leader of the Altai branch of YABLOKO sent an appeal to head of the State Assembly of the Altai Republic demanding to bring the situation under control and to take measures against the officials who violate the rights of the citizens.
