Press Release, 13.03.2018
Until the end of the week, 740,000 copies of Grigory Yavlinsky election newspapers and nearly 50,000 leaflets will be distributed throughout the Krasnoyarsk Territory in support of Russia’s presidential candidate Grigory Yavlinsky. Such a statement was made by Oksana Demchenko, Chair of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Yabloko and official representative of Grigory Yavlinsky.
“Such a large volume of Yabloko propaganda materials is unprecedented for our region. The work is humming along, and we really hope for a good result!”, Chair of the Krasnoyarsk Yabloko said.
According to Demchenko, activists and volunteers have already distributed over 500,000 newspapers.
Volunteers help to conduct the campaign, most of them signed up through the website of Yabloko. Yabloko activists not only distribute newspapers in support of Yavlinsky, but also campaign for him in the streets and call on voters to come to the polls.
“In parallel, we organise observers. The Krasnoyarsk branch of Yabloko sends its observers for observation at elections in territorial and precinct electoral commissions,” Alexander Kolotov, Deputy Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk Yabloko noted.
Yabloko’s Maxim Bombakov has become member of the Territorial Electoral Commission with the right of deliberative vote.
