Grigory Yavlinsky welcomed people who came to put their signatures in his support
Press release, 16.01.2018
Presidential candidate Grigory Yavlinsky welcomed people who came to put their signatures in support of his nomination for the post of the President of Russia.
Those who came to put their signatures in support of Yavlinsky’s nomination asked him for an autograph in return.
“Sinature collection is a good phase of the campaign because we are in constant contact with the voters, we can talk to them, tell them about our programme, realise that we are cooperating. And signature collection shows that there is a real answer to our programme, a true understanding. Lots of people are outraged with poverty, price increase, injustice and what to see changes, therefore they put their signatures,” Yavlinsky said.
By 31 January, Yavlinsky must transfer to the Central Electoral Commission at least 105,000 voters’ signatures in favour of his nomination, whereas only 2,500 signatures per region is allowed.
