Yabloko to hold a seminar on LGBT rights
On 15th November, Yabloko will hold a seminar on “LGBT Rights in modern Russia: why and how to protect them” as part of the Gender School of the party.
The participants are:
Nikolai Kavkazsky, a member of Yabloko Federal Council, an activist of Yabloko’s Gender faction;
Anastasia Garina, a lawyer at the LGBT initiative group Stimul;
Tatiana Glushkova, a lawyer at the human rights group Memorial;
Andrei Petrov, an executive secretary of the LGBT initiative group Stimul, a member of Yabloko’s Gender faction.
Topics for discussion:
Hate crimes against LGBT – how to defend your rights. Family Issues for LGBT People. The freedom of assembly. Yabloko’s activity on LGBT rights protection. The activity of the Moscow LGBT initiative group Stimul.
